1. Summary
Thank you for using our application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your information responsibly.
2. Information used by the app
Microphone. If you start the dB meter, the app requests microphone access and temporarily records audio to estimate nearby sound levels. The recording is used locally for the meter and the temporary file is deleted when measurement stops. The app does not upload the recording in the inspected implementation.
Camera. If you open the dB camera, the app requests camera access and shows a rear-camera preview. A photo is captured only when you press the shutter. The app renders the sound-level overlay locally in memory.
Photos. After a capture, the app requests add-only Photos authorization and saves the rendered image to your Photos library. The app does not request permission to read your existing Photos in the inspected implementation.
Local preferences and history. The app stores guided-routine progress, care history, and recheck-timer settings on the device. The dB meter uses a temporary local audio file and removes it when measurement stops.
3. Information not collected
The inspected implementation does not send microphone recordings, camera images, Photos content, routine history, or timer settings to a third party. It does not request an account, contacts, location, health data, Bluetooth data, or advertising identifier. This statement must be updated if the product adds any transmission, SDK, account, or cloud feature.
4. Sharing, sale, and tracking
We do not sell or rent the locally processed inputs described above. No developer-controlled sharing or tracking path was found in the inspected implementation. Apple system services may process data according to Apple’s own terms when you use system features such as Photos, audio, camera, or App Store services.
5. Retention and deletion
Temporary dB meter audio is deleted when measurement stops. Local routine progress, history, and timer settings remain on the device until the app or its data is removed by the user or the operating system. Captured images saved to Photos are managed in the Photos app; deleting them from the app’s library is controlled by the user and Apple’s Photos behavior.
6. Accounts and purchases
The inspected app has no account creation, sign-in, subscriptions, in-app purchases, or developer-managed billing flow. App Store distribution and the system review request are handled by Apple under Apple’s terms.
7. Children
The app is not knowingly designed to collect personal information from children.
8. Changes
We may update this policy when the app’s data practices change.
